Sleep in a bottle

| | Comments (1)

As the holiday season approaches (yes it's getting closer) the Mall of America has a new store hoping to help during your time of crisis. They are putting in a nap store - where you can take a nap right there in the mall. It would only be 70¢ an hour which ends up being $42 an hour. I don't know about this - if you're really so tired that you can't make it through a shopping trip, perhaps you should stay home and shop online.
This kinda reminds me of when bottled water came out for sale. "Who would buy something that is free everywhere," people said. And that's what I'm saying about sleep. Why would you pay to take a nap in a mall? Hell, go out to your car if you can't keep your eyes open for another minute. (Don't turn it on though!) Although, now that I think about it, if they could bottle sleep and sell it I might be interested.

Don't laugh - since I'm still recovering, there's times when I'm at the mall with friends that I'd probably pay for a place to lay down for a few minutes and get some rest. Of course, to have a whole store for that might be a little much.
