Huckabee doesn't dislike gays.. just wants to deny rights.

First of all, as a candidate for president of a country where there are many types of families, I don't think you can discount an entire group of families and claim to represent all people. There are over 13 million single parents out there, and Mr. H just claimed that those people are messing with their children. I think those people will be thrilled to hear that. Especially when there are studies that show just the opposite - that children of single parent households turn out to be just as well off as children of 2 parent households.
And this BS about "not lik[ing] them..." I don't care if you like me. I just care if you deny me my rights as an American and as a person. The essence of our civilization is the family, says Mr. H. But he says that while applying a specific churches' beliefs and definition to what makes a family. I've always liked the saying that love makes a family. If your definition begets love for a specific structure, I may be so bold to say that you're focusing on the wrong thing.
