I will just say that it took courage to play the part he did in Brokeback Mountain, and I respected him for that. So sad....

The Brokeback Mountain thing didn't touch me as much as others, perhaps. But among Hollywood artists, he was definitely a talent and spirit that's going to be missed. He was by all accounts, the real deal.
